Home to the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls has plenty of college-town character, but there's much more to the community than campus life. Historic downtown Main Street is home to locally owned shops, restaurants, and gathering places, while the city's south side offers additional shopping, dining, and newer residential developments.

Cedar Falls is also a community that makes getting outside pretty easy. Its parks, green spaces, and connections to the extensive Cedar Valley trail system give residents plenty of opportunities to explore on foot or by bike. Annual traditions like Sturgis Falls and summer events downtown bring people together, while established neighborhoods and growing residential areas offer different ways to experience life here.

It's a city that has grown and changed over the years without losing many of the places and traditions that make it recognizable.
